French Onion Stuffed Crust Dip

Directions

  1. 1Start by melting a quarter cup of butter.
  2. 2Add two chopped onions and some onion soup mix with beef stock.
  3. 3Caramelize the onions.
  4. 4Chop 16 ounces of pizza dough into 16 equal pieces.
  5. 5Add a cube of Swiss cheese to each piece of dough.
  6. 6Roll up each piece of dough to enclose the cheese.
  7. 7Line a 14-inch skillet with the stuffed dough balls.
  8. 8In the center of the skillet, add about a cup and a half of sour cream-based French onion dip.
  9. 9On top of the dip, add the caramelized onions.
  10. 10Add 8 ounces of cream cheese on top of the caramelized onions.
  11. 11Bake in the oven at 450 degrees for about 10 minutes.
  12. 12Crack an egg and add some water to create an egg mixture.
  13. 13Paint each of the dough balls with the egg mixture.
  14. 14Sprinkle some dehydrated onions on top of the dough balls.
  15. 15Add a cup of Swiss cheese and Gruyere.
  16. 16Add a little bit of fresh thyme on top.
  17. 17Put it back in the oven at 450 degrees for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  18. 18Let it sit for a little bit before serving.
