Corn Dog Casserole

Directions

  1. 1Combine milk, Jiffy cornbread mix, eggs, hot sauce, mustard, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. 2Add one can of corn to the mixture (optional).
  3. 3Add sliced and fried hot dogs to the mixture.
  4. 4Add about three quarters of an 8 oz package of sharp cheddar to the mixture, reserving some for the top.
  5. 5Mix all ingredients well.
  6. 6Add green onions to the mixture.
  7. 7Spray a 9x13 dish.
  8. 8Pour the mixture into the prepared dish.
  9. 9Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top.
  10. 10Bake uncovered in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about half an hour until golden brown.

  • 1.5 cup milk
  • 2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mix
  • 2 eggs
  • little bit hot sauce
  • little bit mustard
  • pepper
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 pack hot dogs, sliced and fried till nice and brown
  • 8 oz package sharp cheddar
  • green onions

Tips

  • You can skip the can of corn or add green chilies or diced tomatoes instead.
  • Keep some cheese aside to put on top of the casserole.
