Directions
- 1Melt the chocolate over gently simmering water.
- 2Cream together the butter and sugars.
- 3Add the melted chocolate to the creamed butter and sugar mix.
- 4Mix the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa, bicarbonate of soda, and salt) together in a bowl.
- 5Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix.
- 6Add the egg.
- 7Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
- 8Scoop the cookie dough into mounds onto a baking tray.
- 9Bake the cookies for 18 minutes at 170 degrees.
