Levain Bakery Copycat Cookies
Directions
- 1Cream cold butter for 30 seconds.
- 2Add sugars and cream again until light and fluffy.
- 3Add eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla; mix until fully combined.
- 4Add salt, baking soda, cornstarch, and part of the flour; mix on low.
- 5Continue mixing in flour until fully combined.
- 6Mix in chocolate chips.
- 7Make 5.7 ounce cookie dough balls.
- 8Bake at 400°F for 12 minutes.

- 1 cup cold, cubed, unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2.5 cups AP flour
- 1.5 cups cake flour
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 cups chocolate chips (or chocolate chunks, milk or semi sweet)
