Directions
- 1Peel and cut the potatoes.
- 2Place the potatoes in a pot and add water.
- 3Cook the potatoes until tender.
- 4Cut the onion and apple.
- 5Fry the onion and apples in a pan with butter, sugar, cinnamon, and balsamic vinegar.
- 6Fry the bacon.
- 7Drain the potatoes.
- 8Add endive, kruidenkaas and mustard to the potatoes and mash.
- 9Add the onion, apple and bacon mixture to the mash.
- 10Season the ground meat with salt, pepper, breadcrumbs, egg and nutmeg.
- 11Form meatballs.
- 12Fry the meatballs in a pan with butter.
- 13Make a gravy with flour and beef broth.
- 14Add the meatballs to the gravy.

- 500 g endive
- 2 onions
- 2 apples
- 1 el sugar
- 1 tl cinnamon
- 3 el balsamic vinegar
- 1 el mustard
- 2 el herb cheese
- 500 g ground meat (half om half)
- 1 egg
- 2 beschuiten
- 1 tl nutmeg
- 1 el flour
- 250 ml beef broth (cold)
