Directions

  1. 1Get your spinach; think of it like one box serves one person.
  2. 2Boil water with salt.
  3. 3Add your spinach and blanch for 20 seconds, as your greens shrink and turn bright green and beautiful.
  4. 4Now, into an ice bath, you do NOT want this to overcook.
  5. 5Strain, then gently wring out the excess water with your hands.
  6. 6Add sesame oil.
  7. 7Add soy sauce.
  8. 8Add minced garlic.
  9. 9Add green onions.
  10. 10Add a little bit of gochugaru.
  11. 11Add sesame seeds.
  12. 12Add salt to taste.
  13. 13Mix well and enjoy your delicious nutritious Korean spinach banchan.
