Drop about a pound and a half of halved or quartered potatoes to the bottom of your slow cooker.

Spread the potatoes out in an even layer across the bottom.

Season the potatoes with some salt, pepper, and your favorite Cajun seasoning.

Add one stick of butter, taken out of the paper and cut up a little bit first.

Add a pound and a half of green beans, washed and cut into small pieces.

Add one diced onion.

Mix the ingredients together a little and spread them out.

Season with some more Cajun seasoning.

Add one pound of smoked sausage cut into bite-sized pieces.

Put the lid on and set the crock pot to low.

Wait for most of the day until it's done.

Give it a quick stir.

Grab a bowl and fill it up.
