2In a mixing bowl, combine 1lb of organic grass-fed ground beef, 1/2 cup of almond flour, 1 large organic egg, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp garlic powder.
3Mix the ingredients together using a fork.
4Form 4 hamburger patties.
5Brown the patties in a cast iron skillet over medium/high heat until a golden crust forms, then remove them and set aside.
6In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onions until soft.
7Add 8oz of sliced mushrooms and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
8Sprinkle 2 tbsp of all-purpose flour over the vegetables and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
9Stir in 2 cups of beef broth, 2 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp of dried thyme, and additional salt and pepper to taste.
10Bring the mixture to a simmer.
11Whisk in a slurry (1 tbsp cornstarch whisked with 1 tbsp water) to thicken the gravy.
12Return the patties to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through and the gravy thickens.

Tips
Cook patties in a cast iron skillet and make sure it's nice and hot to get a perfect golden crust.
Only flip patties once to get a nice crust on both sides.
