Tips
Searing short ribs in an air fryer is a safer and easier alternative to traditional searing.
If abstaining from alcohol, red wine can be substituted with pomegranate juice or alcohol-free red wine.
Finding mirepoix was the inspiration for the dish; air frying it mimics sautéing.
Do not be concerned about the braising liquid evaporating and becoming thick, as this is desired for flavor.
You can choose to skim the fat from the sauce for a different consistency.
A little cross-contamination never hurt nobody, just kidding.
