Go ahead and spray your crockpot with some cooking spray.
Slice the potatoes really thin.
Set the big pile of potatoes to the side.
Switch the blade out to the cheese grater blade.
Grate the cheddar cheese.
Whisk together the family-size can of cream of chicken soup with two cups of milk.
Take half of the ground beef mixture and put it in the bottom of the crockpot.
Take about a third of the potatoes and spread them out as evenly as possible on your layer.
Pour about a third of the soup mixture on top of these potatoes.
Add about a third of the cheese.
Keep layering until your last layer is the soup mixture and the cheese.
Cook this on high for 5 hours or on low for 7 hours, just make sure your potatoes are good and soft.
Turn off the crockpot, take the lid off and let some of the steam escape so that it tightens up a little bit. That normally takes about like 20 to 30 minutes.
