Directions

  1. 1Mince the garlic.
  2. 2Chop off each of the broccoli florets.
  3. 3Break down larger florets into smaller pieces.
  4. 4Rinse the broccoli.
  5. 5Cut the broccoli stems into smaller pieces.
  6. 6Slice chicken thigh into quarter-inch pieces.
  7. 7Marinate the chicken with oyster sauce.
  8. 8Add a little baking soda to tenderize the chicken.
  9. 9Add a little soy sauce to the chicken.
  10. 10Season the chicken with white pepper.
  11. 11Mix the chicken marinade and set aside.
  12. 12Pour low sodium chicken broth into a measuring cup.
  13. 13Add soy sauce to the broth.
  14. 14Add oyster sauce to the broth mixture.
  15. 15Add dark soy sauce to the broth mixture.
  16. 16Add shaoxing wine or mirin to the broth mixture.
  17. 17Add chicken bouillon to the sauce.

  • 1.5 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon
  • 0.125 tsp white or black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
