Peel the potatoes.

Chop the peeled potatoes into cubes.

Soak the chopped potatoes in water for at least 1 hour.

Mince the garlic.

Melt 3 tablespoons of salted butter in a small pan over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté until lightly browned.
