Directions

  1. 1Add chicken tenders to a food processor.
  2. 2Add a couple of tablespoons of cornstarch to the food processor.
  3. 3Add chicken bouillon powder to the food processor for extra flavor.
  4. 4Add garlic powder to the food processor.
  5. 5Add onion powder to the food processor.
  6. 6Process the chicken mixture until it's finely ground.
  7. 7Wet your hands and form the chicken mixture into patties, making them slightly larger than your buns.
  8. 8Place the formed chicken patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. 9Put the chicken patties in the freezer for about 20 minutes.
  10. 10To one bowl, add plain flour.
  11. 11To a second bowl, add flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper.
  12. 12Mix the dry ingredients together in the second bowl.
  13. 13Add water to the dry ingredients in the second bowl until it reaches a pancake batter consistency.
  14. 14Heat vegetable oil in a cast iron pan.
  15. 15Take a chicken patty, coat it in the plain flour, and then dip it into the wet batter.
  16. 16Place the battered chicken patty into the hot oil.
  17. 17Fry until golden brown on both sides and fully cooked on the inside.
  18. 18Remove the cooked chicken patties from the oil and place them on a wire rack.
  19. 19Spread mayonnaise on the buns.
  20. 20Add lettuce to the bottom bun.
  21. 21Place a cooked chicken patty on top of the lettuce.
  22. 22Add Kinder's Honey Mustard to the sandwich if desired.
