Directions

Mix all filling ingredients in a bowl until fully combined.

Heat a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat.

Add small portions of the filling directly to the pan, leaving space between each one.

Place a wonton wrapper over each portion and gently press so it hugs the filling.

Pour in the water, cover, and let them cook 5–7 minutes on low-medium heat.

Flip onto a plate so the crispy side is on top.

Serve with the dipping sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.

0.5 cup finely chopped scallions
2 minced garlic cloves
1.5 tbsp minced ginger
3 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp toasted sesame oil

0.25 cup water
3 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tsp maple syrup
2 tbsp sweet and sour chili sauce
1 tbsp chopped scallions
sesame seeds

No folding of dumplings is needed for this recipe.
