Directions

  1. 1Cut the washed and dried peaches into wedges.
  2. 2Unroll the 8oz tube of Pillsbury crescent roll dough and carefully separate the sections so you have 8 triangles.
  3. 3Take a peach wedge, place it on the bottom wider end of the dough, roll it up, and then make sure that the seams are sealed and that the peach is completely enclosed.
  4. 4Spray a square baking dish.
  5. 5Place the dumplings in a single layer into the baking dish.
  6. 6Combine the melted unsalted butter with the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  7. 7Give the mixture a good whisk.
  8. 8Pour this mixture evenly over the top of the dumplings.
  9. 9Pour the lemon-lime soda in between the dumplings, not on top, as the carbonation helps to form a nice crust as they bake.
  10. 10Bake uncovered at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 35 minutes.
  11. 11Let them sit for about 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
  12. 12Serve with vanilla ice cream.
