Directions

  1. 1Combine the butter and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
  2. 2Mix until well combined.
  3. 3Add eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. 4Add oats.
  5. 5Add flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. 6Mix until everything is just combined, do not overmix.
  7. 7Add chocolate chips.
  8. 8Mix until chocolate chips are incorporated.
  9. 9Scoop cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  10. 10Bake until edges are slightly crisp.
  11. 11Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
