Directions

  1. 1Coat the hot dogs in yellow mustard.
  2. 2Generously season the hot dogs with barbecue rub and toss to ensure both sides are coated.
  3. 3Bake the hot dogs uncovered in a 375-degree oven.
  4. 4Remove the hot dogs from the oven and cut them into one-inch pieces using kitchen scissors.
  5. 5Add the barbecue sauce to the cut hot dogs and stir to coat.
  6. 6Drizzle the butter and brown sugar over the top of the hot dogs.
  7. 7Bake in a 400-degree oven, stirring halfway through.

  • 2 package hot dog
  • to taste yellow mustard
  • to taste barbecue rub
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • cheese curd (optional)
