  1. 1Mince the garlic.
  2. 2Sauté one onion in vegetable oil.
  3. 3Cook the chopped garlic for one minute.
  4. 4Add tomato paste, cider vinegar, and honey.
  5. 5Add Dijon mustard, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce.
  6. 6Add chili powder, ground cumin, and crushed red pepper flakes.
  7. 7Bring to a boil, mix everything together, and let it simmer for 30 minutes.
  8. 8Season the ribs with salt and pepper on the meat side.
  9. 9Slather the meat with the barbecue sauce.
  10. 10Cover the ribs loosely with foil and bake at 350 degrees for one hour and 45 minutes.
