Season 4 (1 inch thick) bone-in pork chops with garlic powder, onion powder, creole seasoning and black pepper.

Heat 1 tablespoon butter and 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Sear the chops until they have a nice crust.

Set chops aside once browned.

In the same pan, cook a chopped onion and chopped green pepper for 5 minutes.

Add in 5-6 minced garlic cloves and cook for another minute.

Place the chops in the bottom of the crockpot and put the chops on top of them.

Mix a can of cream of mushroom with a can of cream of chicken with herbs and a packet of low sodium brown gravy mix.

Spread that over the top of the pork chops.

Cook on high for 5-6 hours or on low for 6-7 hours.

When done, take the pork chops out and give that gravy a good stir.
