- 6Wash the chitterlings multiple times and transfer them to a clean pot.
- 7Add water and sliced potatoes to the pot with the chitterlings.
- 8Boil the chitterlings and potatoes to remove impurities.
- 9Drain and rinse the chitterlings multiple times.
- 10In a clean pan, add butter and then diced onions, red, green, and yellow bell peppers, celery, thyme, and garlic.
- 11Add seasoning to the vegetables and mix.
- 12Add the cleaned chitterlings back into the pan with the vegetables.
- 13Pour chicken broth into the pan.
- 14Add fried chicken seasoning, chicken bouillon, crushed red peppers, and black pepper.
- 15Add the diced potatoes when the chitterlings are almost done cooking.
- 16Serve the cooked chitterlings and enjoy.
