Directions
1
Add ground beef to a skillet and brown it with diced white onion. Drain excess grease and turn off the heat.
2
Season the meat with seasoned salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Then add ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise and mix everything together.
3
Lay out a sheet of parchment paper and unroll a canned pizza crust onto it. Roll it out and use a glass to flatten it into a large rectangle.
4
Use a pizza cutter to make 12 equal slits on both sides of the dough.
5
Add the ground beef mixture to the center of the dough, top with dill pickle slices, and then with American cheese slices.
6
Alternate the sides and fold the strips of dough over the filling to create a braided effect.
7
Transfer the braid to a baking sheet.
8
Mix one egg with one tablespoon of water to create an egg wash. Brush it over the top of the braid.
9
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the top.
10
Place the braid in the oven.
11
Bake at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
12
Slice into strips and serve.
