Hot Dog Burnt Ends

Directions

  1. 1Arrange the hot dogs in an aluminum tray and coat them with mustard and barbecue rub.
  2. 2Place the hot dogs on a smoker heated to 200 degrees and smoke for one hour.
  3. 3Remove the hot dogs from the smoker and cut them into thirds.
  4. 4Place the cut hot dogs back into the aluminum tray and add butter, brown sugar, and barbecue sauce.
  5. 5Stir the contents until well combined.
  6. 6Place the tray back on the smoker and cook until the sauce thickens.

Ingredients

  • 1 package hot dog
  • 1 squeeze mustard
  • 1 dash barbecue rub
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
