Serves 1

Directions

  1. 1Combine the sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and Red Lobster cheddar bay biscuit mix in a large bowl and mix until combined into a consistent dough.
  2. 2Shape the mixture into small balls.
  3. 3Place the balls into a pan and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 to 30 minutes.
  4. 4Melt the butter in the microwave and mix in the seasoning packet from the biscuit mix box.
  5. 5Brush the melted butter mixture over the hot sausage balls and let them cool for 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 lb sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 box red lobster cheddar bay biscuit mix
  • 1/4 stick butter

Equipment

bowlpanovenmicrowavehot padbrushbutter knife

Tips

  • You can substitute the Red Lobster mix with Bisquick.
  • Use a larger bowl to make mixing less messy.
  • The baking pan does not need to be greased because the sausage is fatty enough.
  • You can slice the finished balls with a butter knife to serve.
