Candied Bacon Smoked Cream Cheese

Directions

  1. 1Crack open a block of cream cheese.
  2. 2Season the cream cheese on all sides with your favorite barbecue rub.
  3. 3Optional: Use a knife to score the top of the cream cheese.
  4. 4Take a sheet of foil and make a little boat for the cream cheese to sit on.
  5. 5Fire up the smoker to 200 degrees.
  6. 6Place the cream cheese on the smoker and let it smoke for about an hour.
  7. 7Grab some crumbled bacon and layer it all over the top of the cream cheese.
  8. 8Drizzle hot honey generously all over the bacon.
  9. 9Shut the smoker down and let it smoke for about another hour or until the bacon is crispy and the cream cheese is soft, still at 200 degrees.
  10. 10Serve alongside your favorite chips or crackers.
