Air fryer chicken breast

Directions

  1. 1Trim any excess fat from the chicken breasts.

  3. 3Add the chicken to a bowl, along with the yogurt, spices, herbs, seasoning, salt, lemon juice, tomato paste, peri-peri sauce, and oil.
  4. 4Mix well to ensure the marinade coats the chicken and gets into the cuts, then let it marinate for at least an hour.
  5. 5Place baking paper on your air fryer tray, and place the marinated chicken on it.
  6. 6Air fry at 180 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes, then flip the chicken.

Tips

  • Making cuts in the chicken breast allows the marinade to penetrate the meat, ensuring it stays flavorful.
  • Using yogurt in the marinade helps keep the chicken super moist.
  • Marinating for at least an hour is key for the best results.
  • Crumbling and folding the edges of the baking paper prevents it from coming into contact with the air fryer fan, which poses a fire hazard.
  • If using a different air fryer, adjust the cooking time and temperature based on its size and manual guidelines.
