Spicy Smothered Roast Chicken in Air Fryer

Directions

  1. 1Combine chicken pieces with salt, paprika, harissa powder, dried parsley, garlic granules, lime juice, oil, and black pepper. Massage to coat well and marinate for at least an hour or overnight.
  2. 2Line air fryer tray with baking paper, place chicken pieces on top, and air fry at 180°C for 25 minutes.
  3. 3Heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion, pepper, and garlic. Sauté for a few minutes.
  4. 4Add paprika, red chilli flakes, and salt. Stir to roast the spices.
  5. 5Add plain flour and roast for one minute, then pour in water and heavy cream. Simmer until the sauce is thick.
  6. 6Flip the chicken pieces in the air fryer and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. 7Stir chopped coriander into the gravy and pour the sauce over the cooked chicken.

  • 1 cup water
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • to taste coriander, chopped

Tips
