Biye Barir Bhuna Gosht

Directions

  1. 1Add cooking oil, cinnamon sticks and cardamom to the pan.
  2. 2Add onion and saute until brown.
  3. 3Add water.
  4. 4Add turmeric and red chili and cook for 2-3 minutes in low heat.
  5. 5Add garlic paste and ginger paste.
  6. 6Add beef/goat/lamb.
  7. 7Add salt, garam masala and white pepper powder.
  8. 8Add mustard oil and plain yogurt.
  9. 9Cook for 5 minutes in low heat.
  10. 10Add ketchup and warm water.
  11. 11Cook for 1 hour in low heat and stir occasionally.
  12. 12Add garam masala, fried onions, nut paste, raisins and dried plum.
  13. 13Add powder milk, salt and cardamom.
  14. 14Add green chili and roasted cumin.
  15. 15Cook for another 30 minutes in lowest heat.

  • 0.5 cup fried onions
  • 2.5 tbsp nut paste
  • 1.5 tbsp raisins
  • 5 dried plum
  • 6 dried plum
  • 0.25 cup powder milk
  • 2 tbsp powder milk
  • salt
  • 0.25 tsp cardamom
  • 8 green chili
  • 10 green chili
  • 1 tsp roasted cumin
