Ingredients

  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 0.5 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp corn starch
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Tips

  • The above recipe is for a THICK and STICKY sauce. For a THINNER sauce use LESS of the cornstarch slurry.
  • For thinner sauce : Pour a SMALL amount into the sauce- a little at a time- bring to a simmer to check the thickness. Continue this process until you reach the desired thickness.
