Directions

  1. 1Wash the rice.
  2. 2Add water to the rice in a pot, up to the level slightly below your fingertip.
  3. 3Add bay leaves.
  4. 4Put the pot on high heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, once it starts boiling.
  5. 5Remove the bay leaves.
  6. 6Put the cooked rice in a bowl.
  7. 7Roughly chop the cilantro.
  8. 8Add salt to the rice.
  9. 9Juice one lime.
  10. 10Add cilantro.
  11. 11Combine and mix.

  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 handful cilantro
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 lime
