Tortellini Pasta Dinner

Directions

  1. 1Get some ground beef and put it in your cast iron skillet.
  2. 2While the ground beef is cooking, get some pasta water and boil that.
  3. 3Add a little bit of salt in there to salt the water.
  4. 4Add your tortellini pasta to it.
  5. 5Get a block of mozzarella cheese and shred it.
  6. 6Once the ground beef is about halfway done, season it with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and red pepper chili flakes.
  7. 7Stir around that beef.
  8. 8Move the beef around to get rid of the grease using a paper towel hack.
  9. 9Drain off the tortellini pasta.
  10. 10Cook the tortellini according to the package standards.
  11. 11Pour the whole jar of Rao's sauce into the 1 lb of cooked ground beef.
  12. 12Incorporate the sauce into the beef really well.
  13. 13Over medium-low heat, stir in the cream cheese with the meat, the seasonings, and the sauce.
  14. 14Add in the cooked tortellini pasta.
  15. 15Stir the tortellini around until it's completely incorporated with the sauce, the pasta, the meat, and the cream cheese.
  16. 16Take the block of mozzarella that we shredded and simply top off the dish with that mozzarella cheese.
  17. 17Stick it in the oven and let that cook off for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

  • 1 Tsp red pepper chili flakes
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 6 oz mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar Rao's marinara sauce
  • 16 oz tortellini pasta
