Directions

  1. 1Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  2. 2To make the sauce, mix together slivered garlic, fresh cilantro, lime zest, salt, pepper, and softened butter in a bowl.
  3. 3Cut two pieces of parchment paper large enough to fold over the fish and create a sealed packet.
  4. 4Spread the garlic butter mixture all over the salmon.
  5. 5Place the salmon on a sheet of parchment paper and add a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
  6. 6Fold over the parchment paper and seal it by crimping the edges.
  7. 7Place the sealed parchment paper packets on a baking sheet.
  8. 8Bake for just 10 to 12 minutes.
  9. 9Carefully open each packet.
  10. 10Add the crushed red chili flakes (if using).
  11. 11Serve the salmon still in the parchment paper on a plate and add the rice directly on the garlic butter sauce so that it soaks up all that flavor.
