Chilli Garlic Veg Chowmein

Directions

  1. 1To make chowmein, first boil water in a pot.
  2. 2Once the water boils, add the chowmein and stir it well.
  3. 3Check the chowmein periodically; it's cooked when the thin white line in the middle disappears.
  4. 4Once cooked, quickly transfer the chowmein to a basket to drain the water.
  5. 5Pour cold water over the chowmein to cool it down quickly.
  6. 6Spread the chowmein out in an open space and apply oil to it.
  7. 7Let the chowmein sit for at least 30 minutes to an hour to dry thoroughly.
  8. 8Heat a little oil in a pan.
  9. 9Add garlic, chopped onion, and capsicum to the pan and lightly fry them.
  10. 10Add carrots and cabbage to the pan and sauté lightly.
  11. 11Add the prepared chowmein to the pan.
  12. 12Add salt, Ajinomoto, black pepper, chowmein masala, soy sauce, and orange red food color.
  13. 13Add tomato ketchup, green chili sauce, vinegar, and red chili paste.
  14. 14Mix all the ingredients thoroughly.
