Peel the skin of the karelas.

Cut the karela into half.

Remove all the seeds, which is optional.

Cut the karelas into really thin, equal strips.

Put salt and haldi on the cut karelas.

Leave it for about 30 minutes.

Squeeze out all the water from the karela.

Cook onions until nicely caramelized in slow heat.

Add jeera, green chili ginger to oil in a pan.

Add the karelas to the pan.

Cook the karelas on low heat for a long time until nicely crunchy.

Add the caramelized onions to the pan.

Add all the spices.

Cook for another 2 minutes.
