Directions
- 1Take a zester, place your thumb on the top of the lemon, base the microplane on top, and pull around to zest.
- 2Blanch all your citrus in boiling water for one minute.
- 3Remove the citrus and save the leftover liquid.
- 4Cut all your lemons and limes in half.
- 5Juice the lemons and limes.
- 6Add your sugar and lemon zest back to your lemon water.
- 7Bring to a simmer before adding in your lemon juice and bringing to a simmer again.
- 8Pass through a strainer.
- 9Keep it in the fridge, it will last for a month.
- 10Mix it with your favorite sparkling water.
