Marry Me Steak Bites

Directions

  1. 1Cut some steak into 1x1 inch cubes.
  2. 2Season with simple salt and pepper.
  3. 3Sear on all sides.
  4. 4Butter baste.
  5. 5Set aside the cooked steak bites.
  6. 6For the marry me sauce, cut up some shallots and a few garlic cloves.
  7. 7Add sun-dried tomatoes and the oil from the jar to the pan.
  8. 8Add tomato paste.
  9. 9Add heavy cream and cook at a medium to low heat.
  10. 10Add lemon zest, lemon juice, spices, and Parmesan cheese.
  11. 11Add Melinda's Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce for heat.
  12. 12For the creamy garlic mashed potatoes, boil potatoes.
  13. 13Peel the boiled potatoes.
  14. 14Use a potato ricer to mash the potatoes into a bowl.
  15. 15Add roasted garlic to the mashed potatoes.
  16. 16Season the mashed potatoes with salt and pepper.
  17. 17Mix the mashed potatoes.
  18. 18Add a pat of butter on top of the mashed potatoes.
  19. 19Plate the garlic mashed potatoes, top with steak bites, then the marry me sauce, and finally sprinkle with chives.
