Crispy Pan-Fried Pork & Shrimp Dumplings

Directions

  1. 1In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shiitake mushrooms, chopped green onions, egg, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, chicken stock, and salt.
  2. 2Mix well until the filling becomes sticky and fully combined.
  3. 3Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each dumpling wrapper.
  4. 4Clump the filling together as shown in the video.
  5. 5Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little oil.
  6. 6Place one small shrimp on top of each dumpling, gently pressing it into the filling.
  7. 7Cook the dumplings for 1-2 minutes, until the bottoms begin to brown.
  8. 8Pour in 1/4 cup water, immediately cover the pan with a lid, and steam for 6-7 minutes.
  9. 9Remove the lid and continue cooking for 1-2 more minutes, allowing the remaining water to evaporate and the bottoms to become crispy.
  10. 10Garnish with sliced green onion, chili oil, and chili crisp.
  11. 11Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.25 cup chicken stock
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • Neutral oil
  • 0.25 cup water
  • Chili oil
  • Chili crisp

Tips
