2In a bowl, marinate the steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, sesame oil, sambal, liquid seasoning, black pepper, and grated garlic. Mix well and let it sit for 30 minutes.
3Heat up a wok with oil until it is furiously hot.
4Add the marinated beef to the wok and spread it into a flat layer. DO NOT TOUCH it until it starts to char around the sides.
5Once the beef is charred, shake the pan aggressively to cook it evenly. This is how it gets its name: shaking beef.
6Add cherry tomatoes to the wok and continue shaking until the tomatoes blister.
7Remove the beef and tomatoes from the wok.
8Serve the beef and tomatoes over a bed of white rice. Add sliced cucumbers and arugula.
