Directions

  1. 1Wash and soak any lentil or bean for 8 to 12 hours.
  2. 2Drain and rinse the soaked lentils or beans.
  3. 3Blend the lentils or beans with fresh water until completely smooth (ratio of 3 parts lentils to 5 parts water).
  4. 4Pour the mixture into a non-stick pan and stir in salt.
  5. 5Heat the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens into a smooth paste that clings to the spatula.
  6. 6Pour the mixture into a mold or container.
  7. 7Chill until set in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  8. 8Serve it cold, or pan-fry, bake, air-fry, or deep-fry until crispy on the outside.

Tips
