Directions

  1. 1To make the super simple protein dough, mix together self-rising flour, Greek yogurt, and a pinch of salt until it looks like a dough.
  2. 2Set the dough aside.
  3. 3Add center-cut bacon strips to a baking sheet.
  4. 4Remove the skins from Italian turkey sausages.
  5. 5Break up the Italian turkey sausages.
  6. 6Throw both meats into the oven to bake and save tons of time.
  7. 7While the meats are cooking in the oven, divide the protein dough into eight equal portions.
  8. 8Shape each portion into a ball.
  9. 9Place each one on a floured surface.
  10. 10Carefully roll out the dough.
  11. 11For the filling, add some tomato sauce and spread it out a little.
  12. 12Add a serving of turkey pepperoni.
  13. 13Add some diced bacon.
  14. 14Add Italian sausage.
  15. 15Add some fat-free mozzarella cheese on top.
  16. 16Fold over the edges.
  17. 17Pinch them together to form a hot pocket.
  18. 18Add the hot pocket to a hot pan.
  19. 19Cover with a lid and cook on both sides until nice and golden brown.
  20. 20You can wrap them in aluminum foil and freeze for up to three months.
