Million Dollar Spaghetti

Directions

  1. 1Heat oil in a pan.
  2. 2Sauté onion, bell pepper, and garlic for 5 minutes.
  3. 3Add ground beef and sausage to the pan with the vegetables.
  4. 4Season the meat with salt and black pepper and cook until browned.
  5. 5Stir in marinara sauce and water to the meat mixture.
  6. 6Add dried basil, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to the sauce.
  7. 7Allow the meat sauce to simmer with the lid slightly open, stirring occasionally.
  8. 8Place a pot of water on the stove and add salt.
  9. 9Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  10. 10In another pan, melt butter over medium heat.
  11. 11Add pressed garlic to the melted butter and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  12. 12Pour in heavy cream, stirring constantly, and bring to a gentle simmer.
  13. 13Let the Alfredo sauce thicken slightly.
  14. 14Stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic salt, and dried parsley until smooth.
  15. 15In a deep baking dish, toss the cooked spaghetti with the Alfredo sauce and spread evenly.

  17. 17Spread the meat sauce evenly over the spaghetti.
  18. 18Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meat sauce.
