Creamy Beef Pasta

Directions

  1. 1Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat and add some olive oil.
  2. 2Add the diced yellow onion, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook for 6-8 minutes until the onions are tender.
  3. 3Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, less than a minute.
  4. 4Add the ground beef, salt, pepper, and paprika. Break it up and brown it.
  5. 5Make room in the middle of the pot for the tomato paste and cook it for a few minutes.
  6. 6Bring all the ingredients together.
  7. 7Add the beef broth and heavy cream, then bring to a low boil.
  8. 8Add the pasta shells, lower the heat to a simmer, and cook until tender for 15-20 minutes.
  9. 9Add the sharp cheddar cheese.
  10. 10Taste the pasta and season with salt and pepper as needed.
  11. 11Plate the pasta and garnish with chives.

  • 2 tablespoons Tomato Paste
  • 1 lb Pasta Shells
  • 5 ounces Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • Olive Oil
  • Chives
