Directions

  1. 1Place the bite-size chicken pieces into the crockpot.
  2. 2Pour the soy sauce and pineapple juice over the chicken.
  3. 3Add the brown sugar, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4Gently stir everything together so the chicken is evenly coated in the sauce.
  5. 5Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or on high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  6. 6For a thicker sauce, remove the lid during the last 20–30 minutes of cooking to allow the sauce to reduce slightly.
  7. 7Serve hot over steamed rice, noodles, or spooned onto slider buns, with extra sauce drizzled on top.
