Cheese Spread with Preserves
Directions
- 1Take a small onion and put it in the food processor to chop it up.
- 2Use the food processor to shred 8 oz of sharp cheddar and 8 oz of Colby Jack cheese.
- 3In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheese, 3 oz of softened cream cheese, 3/4 cup of mayonnaise, and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic salt.
- 4Stir until combined. Add a pinch of cayenne if desired.
- 5Scoop the cheese mixture onto a platter, leaving space in the middle for the preserves.
- 6Place a small bowl in the middle of the platter to hold the strawberry preserves.
- 7Serve with crackers.
