Directions
1
Start by adding 1 cup of light brown sugar and a half a cup of melted butter.
2
Mix that together until it's light and fluffy.
3
Add one whole egg plus one egg yolk and 2 teaspoons of vanilla.
4
Mix it up until it's all combined and smooth.
5
Next, add in a half a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of baking powder, and 1 cup of all-purpose flour.
6
Fold all that in until it's mixed up, but don't over mix it.
7
If you're going to do some add-ins, add them in now, such as a half a cup of white chocolate, and fold that in.
8
Pour the blondie batter into an 8x8 inch greased pan, optionally lined with parchment paper.
9
Top it with some more chocolate if you want.
10
Bake it at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
11
Once the blondies are finished baking, allow them to cool completely before cutting them up.
