One Pan 20-Minute Chicken Sausage Orzo Pasta

Directions

  1. 1Add one teaspoon of olive oil to a pan set over medium-high heat.
  2. 2Add five sliced chicken sausages and brown them.
  3. 3Add one diced onion and five cloves of garlic; let them cook together.
  4. 4Add two cups of orzo pasta and mix it around.
  5. 5Add four cups of chicken stock and bring to a boil.
  6. 6Once boiling, lower to a simmer and let it chill for about 10 minutes.
  7. 7After 10 minutes, add about a cup of Parmesan cheese and a big handful of spinach.
  8. 8Mix well.
  9. 9Add about two tablespoons of cream (optional).
  10. 10Serve with a little bit of lemon zest, some chili flakes, a little more Parmesan, and a crack of black pepper.
