Directions
- 1Heat sugar and water until the sugar is dissolved.
- 2Let the sugar and water mixture cool.
- 3Add 1/2 cup of lemon juice and 1/4 cup of lime juice to the cooled mixture.
- 4Add 3 tablespoons of orange juice concentrate to the mixture.
- 5Mix well.
- 6Optionally, add a little bit of citric acid.
- 7To make the Baja Blast, add a little of the homemade Mountain Dew syrup to a glass.
- 8Add a splash of pineapple juice and lime juice to the glass. Adjust to preference.
- 9For fun, add a drop of blue and a drop of yellow food coloring.

- 2 tbsp orange juice concentrate
- 0.5 cup lemon juice
- 0.25 cup lime juice
- sparkling water or club soda
- 1 pinch citric acid
- 1 splash pineapple juice
- 1 splash fresh lime juice
- 1 drop blue food coloring
- 1 drop yellow food coloring
