Directions

  1. 1Throw two pounds of hamburger meat and some diced onions into a skillet and let it start to brown.

  3. 3Throw in some minced garlic and let that cook for about thirty to forty-five seconds.
  4. 4Drain off all that grease, throw in a can of tomato sauce, add some ketchup, a little bit of mustard, and hit it with some salt and black pepper.
  5. 5Add two heaping spoonfuls of brown sugar and mix this up while it's on low heat.
  6. 6In a separate hot skillet, take some Texas toast, squirt a little mayonnaise on each side, and let that toast up.
  7. 7Throw a couple slices of cheese on the bread and then put your Sloppy Joe meat on top of that.
