Baked Pineapple Chicken Teriyaki Thighs

Directions

  1. 1Put chicken thighs into a baking dish and spread them out evenly.
  2. 2Grab a saucepan and add 1 tablespoon of ground ginger, 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, a quarter cup of coco aminos or soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch.
  3. 3Get a can of pineapple slices and pour all of the juice into the saucepan.
  4. 4Whisk everything until it is beautifully combined.
  5. 5Bring the sauce to a boil and let it get nice and thick.
  6. 6Once the sauce is thick, pour it over the chicken thighs, making sure they are completely covered.
  7. 7Pick the whole thing up and put it in the oven at 400 degrees for about 35 minutes.
  8. 8When it comes out, it should look like the one in the video.
  9. 9Grab a bowl of rice and put 1 chicken thigh on it, or 3 if you're hungry.
  10. 10If you have anything green in your pocket, sprinkle it on there to make it look fancy.
  11. 11Get a fork, scoop up a big old bite and put the whole thing in your mouth.

Tips

  • If you want a thick sauce you're going to have to do it again because all the juices from the chicken thin it out.
