High Protein Garlic Teriyaki Beef Fried Rice

Directions

  1. 1Add light butter to a pan.
  2. 2Add 800g of ground/minced beef to the pan.
  3. 3Cook the beef on high heat for 6-8 minutes until fully brown.
  4. 4Add 1.5 tablespoons of minced garlic paste to the beef.
  5. 5Add 50g of soy sauce to the beef.
  6. 6Add 30g of honey or maple syrup.
  7. 7Add 25g of rice vinegar.
  8. 8Add chopped green onion to the beef.
  9. 9Add sesame seeds to the beef.
  10. 10Mix and cook for 5 minutes extra until golden and crispy.
  11. 11Set the cooked beef aside.
  12. 12Add chopped garlic, white, and green onion to the pan.
  13. 13Cook these for 5-6 minutes until soft.
  14. 14Push the cooked vegetables to the side of the pan.
  15. 15Add 4 beaten eggs to the pan.
  16. 16Mix the eggs until scrambled.
  17. 17Add 520g of cooked white rice to the pan.
  18. 18Add 30g of soy sauce to the rice.
  19. 19Add 60g of chili garlic sauce.
  20. 20Add chopped green onion to the rice.
  21. 21Add coriander/cilantro.
  22. 22Add sesame seeds.
  23. 23Mix until well combined and the color changes.
  24. 24For the Yum Yum sauce, add 50g of fat-free yogurt to a bowl.
  25. 25Add 50g of light mayo.
  26. 26Add 25g of ketchup.
  27. 27Add 25g of sriracha.
  28. 28Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  29. 29Add a dash of milk.
  30. 30Mix until completely silky smooth.
  31. 31Serve the fried rice and beef into meal prep containers.
  32. 32Drizzle with Yum Yum sauce and garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.

  • 25 g Sriracha
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • Dash Milk

Tips

  • Cook the beef on high heat for 6-8 minutes to develop a good brown color.
  • Lower the heat to medium when adding the garlic, soy sauce, and maple syrup to the beef.
  • Let the beef cook for another 5 minutes to get crispy.
  • Cook the onions and garlic for 5 minutes until softened.
  • Push the vegetables to the side and cook the eggs on low heat until scrambled.
  • When adding the rice and extra soy sauce, give everything a good mix to coat every grain of rice. Add extra soy sauce if needed to darken the color.
