Easy Bok Choy with Chili Garlic Oyster Sauce

Directions

  1. 1Cut the bok choy in half lengthwise.
  2. 2Boil the bok choy in water.
  3. 3Combine soy sauce, dark soy, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  4. 4Add oyster sauce, cornstarch, and water to the mixture and stir.
  5. 5Sauté chopped garlic and red chili pepper in cooking oil.
  6. 6Pour the sauce mixture into the pan with the sautéed garlic and chili, and stir to cook until thickened.
  7. 7Arrange the boiled bok choy on a plate.
  8. 8Pour the prepared chili garlic oyster sauce over the bok choy.

Ingredients

  • 5 bunches Pak choi (bok choy)
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Red chilli pepper
  • 1 tbsp Regular soy sauce or light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Oyster sauce, or vegetarian stir fry sauce or hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch or potato starch
  • 5 tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Cooking oil (Sunflower, peanut, canola, or vegetable oil)
